They have the opportunity to showcase their growth and talent in our Christmas show, spring recital, and at three local competitions. This program builds foundational skills and confidence while keeping a focus on fun, teamwork, and steady progress in each dancer’s journey.

Can we add more?
Yes! We are extremely flexible and allow Mini Co. dancers to take on additional opportunities, such as extra group dances, conventions, extra competitions, and solos/duos, if they’re ready for more. However, it’s important to note that this program is designed to be budget-friendly, so adding extras will increase costs. We’re happy to work with families to create the right balance for their dancer!
Required Classes
Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Hip-Hop, Lyrical, Acro, - This balanced schedule helps them develop strong foundations and versatile skills, preparing them for performances and competitions.

Beta Co. Program (low commitment)
Our Beta Co. program offers an accessible introduction to competitive dance for newer dancers and a low-commitment option for seasoned dancers. Participants attend classes twice a week and take part in up to two group dances, performing in our Christmas showcase and spring recital. They will compete in four local competitions each year, with the possibility of attending a national competition if the studio collectively decides to go.
While some Saturday rehearsals may be required, we respect dancers’ other commitments by avoiding Friday evenings and Sundays, except for competitions scheduled by independent organizations. Designed to be budget-friendly, the Beta Co. program provides older dancers with the ability to compete at the lowest cost possible while still enjoying a supportive and flexible environment for their growth and development.

Two Group Dances
Our Beta Competitive Program is designed to offer a balanced approach to competitive dance, intentionally keeping the commitment light to allow dancers to excel both socially and in the studio. For this reason, we do not permit adding additional group dances to the program. By keeping the number of routines small, we ensure that our dancers can experience the thrill and discipline of competition while still enjoying a healthy balance with their personal lives. This structure supports growth in both areas, fostering well-rounded dancers without overwhelming their schedules.
Required Classes
In our Beta Competitive Program, we require team members to participate in only two out of the three available training days each week. This flexibility allows dancers to choose the two days that best fit their personal schedules and commitments, promoting a healthy balance between dance and other areas of life. Our goal with this lower-commitment program is to give dancers the opportunity to grow and compete without overwhelming their time, making it a great choice for those seeking both progress and balance.
Can we add more?
Yes, Beta Co. team members can add more opportunities! However, they are limited to two group dances per season and cannot add additional group routines. They are welcome to pursue solos, duos, or trios upon request.
Please note that these additions will require adherence to the policies and regulations of the collective program, which includes more requirements and stipulations, such as private lessons and additional costs. We’re happy to discuss these options and help tailor the experience to fit each dancer’s needs!

Collective Co. Program (high commitment)
The Collective Program at Alpha Dance serves as the umbrella for our highest award-winning teams, including our Senior Team and Sigma Team. Designed for dedicated dancers, this high-commitment program focuses on training at the highest level, preparing participants for both professional careers and collegiate dance opportunities.
Dancers in the Collective Program train 3 to 4 days a week, with Saturday rehearsals and typically Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays off to maintain a healthy balance. Our curriculum emphasizes all styles of dance, with a strong focus on technical training that helps dancers excel across genres. This program is perfect for those who are serious about advancing their skills and competing regionally and nationally.
Collective Program, dancers are required to participate in three group dances: a production number with the entire competitive company and two large groups in different genres. While dancers typically perform in more than three routines, we limit participation to a maximum of 6 groups.
This approach alleviates financial stress for families and prevents dancers from taking on more than they can handle. The production number showcases the company’s talent, while the large groups prepare dancers for the versatility needed in competitions. Typically, dancers are also in several small groups that are either hand-selected or auditioned.

Can we add more?
Yes! While the Collective Program is already a high-commitment program, it is typical for dancers at this level to have multiple solos, duos, and trios in addition to their group dances. Traveling to compete with their solos and participating in optional competitions and conventions across the state are also common practices. While not required, these additional opportunities are encouraged to enhance dancers’ skills and experiences. However, it’s important to be mindful that taking on extra commitments will incur additional costs.
What is the cost?
Although the Collective Program is the most expensive program we offer, it is still designed to be budget-friendly and competitive with other studios in our area. We pride ourselves on providing a clear outline of the entire year and its due dates earlier than most studios.
After our annual auditions, you will receive a list of important due dates, which helps you plan accordingly for a smooth-running year. All due dates, competition dates, rehearsal dates, choreography dates, and competition dates are provided at least six months in advance, giving you ample time for financial planning. Solo Artist Program
Our Solo Artist Program is designed for dancers who wish to train intensively without the commitment of being part of a competitive team and adhering to team policies and standards. This program caters to individual dancers who want to focus on their personal growth and artistry.
Solo artists in this program do not compete in group dances; instead, they primarily travel and compete at various competitions with their solos. In addition to competition preparation, solo artists have the opportunity to attend a range of conventions throughout the year, allowing them to gain valuable experience and exposure to diverse styles and techniques.
Dancers in the Solo Artist Program are afforded our branding, name, and connections within the industry, enhancing their visibility and opportunities. They are also presented with the ability to have choreography created by our skilled staff, ensuring that their performances are uniquely tailored to showcase their individual strengths. This program offers a flexible and supportive environment for dancers to hone their skills, express their creativity, and pursue their passion for dance on their own terms.

No group dances
The Solo Artist Program prohibits participation in group dances because allowing group involvement would defeat the purpose of the program. This is a non-team-based initiative designed specifically for individuals who want to focus on their own development as solo artists. By eliminating group dances, we ensure that each dancer can dedicate their time and energy to honing their skills, crafting their unique artistry, and competing individually without the added responsibilities of team dynamics.
Can we add more?
The short answer is yes, but with some limitations. While you cannot participate in group dances, duos, or trios, you are allowed to have multiple solos. Additionally, you can attend unlimited conventions and participate in as many competitions as you like.
You also have the opportunity to train alongside our competitive teams at a limited capacity for your representation fee. If you’re interested in additional classes or training, you can add them by paying the same amount as our Collective Program. This structure allows for a customized experience tailored to your individual goals as a solo artist.
